The Pulses Unit - A Ray of Hope
In 2019, Manju joined the newly established pulses unit, where she found a stable opportunity alongside seven other women from her village. At the unit, she quickly learned to operate the machines and took on a full-time role. Her workday now starts at 9:30 am and finishes at 5:30 pm, providing her with a dependable routine and a steady monthly income of Rs. 6,000. This has allowed her to run her household with confidence and stability she hadn’t experienced before.
